The Del Rio Chamber of Commerce, a Texas non-profit Corporation, with 470 members +, is seeking a full time Executive Director who will manage all aspects of the Chambers activities and oversee the activities of the Convention & Visitors Bureau. This position is responsible for representing the business interest of the Chamber members and promoting business growth in the Del Rio community. The Executive Director will participate in the development of annual programs and events and budgets as well as implementing policy developed by the Board of Directors. There should be a strong emphasis on business retention and marketing. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to handle any situation diplomatically. Compensation: This is a salaried position and initial compensation is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience and education. Bilingual a plus. Health insurance provided. Location: Del Rio, Texas 150 miles West of San Antonio, Texas.
